And the winner is....

Last week, we told you about our latest products, Ambient TV™ and Argus™, and their status as finalists in Broadband Technology Report’s Diamond Awards. These awards “recognize top products and solutions available to the broadband cable industry” and are judged by executives from cable operators. In the past, each finalist in the category was recognized but this year, a winner was chosen in each category.

This week, we are thrilled to announce that Argus, our latest product in our AltiProtect™ family, took home a coveted Diamond Award in the Video Content Security category. Argus tied for the win with Verimatrix’s Multiright’s OTT Plus.

Ambient TV, our entrant in the Content Distribution Services category, was in great company with four other finalists and their products– Broadpeak nanoCDN, Evolution Digital eVUE-TV, Huawei Technologies FMC CDN Solution and Vecima Networks Terrace DVB Commercial Video Gateway. Our congratulations go to Broadpeak who took home the Diamond Award.

Alticast is honored that our products are recognized with such high honors and that we stand side-by-side with great companies in the industry. Alticast Privacy Statement

GENERAL

Alticast may collect your personal data when you visit an Alticast office or website, order or purchase Alticast products or services or when you contact Alticast. This Privacy Statement applies to the collection and handling of the personal data of (potential) visitors to Alticast and users of the Alticast website ("Customers").

Alticast attaches great importance to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. We will handle your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

THE FIVE PRIVACY PRINCIPLES OF ALTICAST

The Alticast Privacy Principles reflect how we handle data protection and privacy.

1. Alticast has many years of experience with developing end-to-end media technology solutions that enable service providers to quickly and reliably deliver innovative TV experiences to their customers. We comply with strict statutory regulations. This means that we are legally required to process and store personal data. We are open and clear about this in our privacy statement.
2. Alticast uses strict rules for processing personal data, and we regularly evaluate the functioning of the rules. We process personal data that is relevant and necessary to give customers a wonderful customer experience and to be a good employer for our staff.
3. Alticast has taken appropriate organisational and technical security measures for dealing with the personal data of customers and employees. Only people with the correct level of authorisation are able to access personal data. If we engage external parties, we only do so once we have made solid agreements about the safe processing of personal data. We take measures to prevent data breaches, but should these occur, we inform the parties concerned and the regulatory authority when necessary.
4. Alticast develops new systems according to the principles of "privacy by design" and "privacy by default". These mean that privacy aspects are included in the design process, and we always start from the most privacy-friendly level.
5. Alticast wants to offer transparent, clear information about which personal data we process, why this is necessary, and how we handle the processing of personal data. We will assist any customers, employees or other persons concerned who require further details or information on this.

WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?

When you unsubscribe to commercial communications from us, we will remove you from the mailing list as quickly as possible. This normally occurs within 1-3 working days. Because of the processing time and production schedules, you may receive the communications that were already in production.
