Our latest whitepaper, "Cybersecurity: Turning Necessity into Business Opportunity," now available for download

As broadband Web access expands beyond traditional communications and information services to include IOT, home security and even connected cars, PayTV operators are expected to play a pivotal role. In an environment where all endpoints are connected via the cloud, operators need to protect against security hacks that can compromise the privacy and safety of consumers, can reduce revenue via unauthorized access to content and services, and can cause disruptions to the network operations.

Our latest whitepaper, in parternership with Parks Associates, provides an overview of current content security systems and outlines the pain points in the transition from content security to this big data security, with an emphasis on real-time threat detection using machine learning. The whitepaper also identifies emerging business opportunities for operators for which intelligent data security plays an integral role.

In response to this ever-changing environment, we have developed Argus™️, our newest member of the AltiProtect family. Using big data and machine learning technology, Argus ensures the highest level of content and revenue security within cloud-based environments. Making its debut at the IBC Show this week (booth 1.F36), Argus makes it possible for pay-TV operators to secure -holistically and seamlessly-cross-platform viewing devices, home security systems, IOT products and connected cars against hacking and data breaches that can jeopardize revenue and can compromise the privacy and safety of customers. Argus is a finalist in Broadband Technology Report's "Diamond Technology Reviews" in the Video Content Security category. Winners will be announced at the CableTec Expo taking place in Denver on October 17-20. Stay tuned....
