Visit Alticast at TV of Tomorrow 2013

Alticast is proud to be a sponsor of and speaking at TV of Tomorrow 2013, which takes place June 25th- 26th in San Francisco.

Following on the heels of the Cable RDK Fireside, this session will bring together leading technology vendors to discuss how they are adapting to meet the evolving needs of pay-TV operators, as those operators adopt open-source technologies and move beyond the set-top box to embrace multiple connected platforms and enhance their traditional content line-up with a range of online and mobile content and services.

Panelists will answer such questions as: How significant a development is cable's embrace of the RDK and how are you addressing this? How are you innovating--what new developments do you see happening in the pay-TV space over the coming months and years and how do you plan to respond to those developments? How are you building a developer community? In what ways do you feel that the UI/UX of pay-TV services needs to evolve--how will subscribers find the content that interests them? How significant a role will cloud-based approaches play in the future of the pay-TV platform? And what do you see as the principal threats to pay TV and how are you helping counter them? Alticast Privacy Statement

GENERAL

Alticast may collect your personal data when you visit an Alticast office or website, order or purchase Alticast products or services or when you contact Alticast. This Privacy Statement applies to the collection and handling of the personal data of (potential) visitors to Alticast and users of the Alticast website ("Customers").

Alticast attaches great importance to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. We will handle your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

THE FIVE PRIVACY PRINCIPLES OF ALTICAST

The Alticast Privacy Principles reflect how we handle data protection and privacy.

1. Alticast has many years of experience with developing end-to-end media technology solutions that enable service providers to quickly and reliably deliver innovative TV experiences to their customers. We comply with strict statutory regulations. This means that we are legally required to process and store personal data. We are open and clear about this in our privacy statement.
2. Alticast uses strict rules for processing personal data, and we regularly evaluate the functioning of the rules. We process personal data that is relevant and necessary to give customers a wonderful customer experience and to be a good employer for our staff.
3. Alticast has taken appropriate organisational and technical security measures for dealing with the personal data of customers and employees. Only people with the correct level of authorisation are able to access personal data. If we engage external parties, we only do so once we have made solid agreements about the safe processing of personal data. We take measures to prevent data breaches, but should these occur, we inform the parties concerned and the regulatory authority when necessary.
4. Alticast develops new systems according to the principles of "privacy by design" and "privacy by default". These mean that privacy aspects are included in the design process, and we always start from the most privacy-friendly level.
5. Alticast wants to offer transparent, clear information about which personal data we process, why this is necessary, and how we handle the processing of personal data. We will assist any customers, employees or other persons concerned who require further details or information on this.

When you unsubscribe to commercial communications from us, we will remove you from the mailing list as quickly as possible. This normally occurs within 1-3 working days. Because of the processing time and production schedules, you may receive the communications that were already in production.
