Alticast´s Apex is honored with a BTR Diamond Technology Review Award

The Broadband Technology Report Diamond Technology Reviews ("the Diamonds") recognize some of the top products and solutions available to the cable industry as determined by a stellar panel of cable telecommunication engineering experts.

For the second year in a row, an Alticast product has been recognized for this esteemed award. Apex™ , Alticast’s Cloud UI service, was awarded 3.5 diamonds in the Video Processing Solutions category. Apex is an efficient, flexible, client-server system that executes the majority of the user interface in the cloud. You can read more about it here. Last year, our security product, Argus™ was awarded this honor in the Video Content Security category.

We are honored to have been recognized by BTR and the panel of judges and we extend our congratulations to the other companies in this industry who also received Diamond Awards. We look forward to next year!

Alticast Privacy Statement

GENERAL

Alticast may collect your personal data when you visit an Alticast office or website, order or purchase Alticast products or services or when you contact Alticast. This Privacy Statement applies to the collection and handling of the personal data of (potential) visitors to Alticast and users of the Alticast website ("Customers").

Alticast attaches great importance to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. We will handle your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

Alticast may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time. You may always view the latest version of the Privacy Statement at www.alticast.com. We advise you to visit this website regularly to determine whether you possess the most recent version of the Privacy Statement, and that you do so whenever sending your personal data to Alticast. THE FIVE PRIVACY PRINCIPLES OF ALTICAST

The Alticast Privacy Principles reflect how we handle data protection and privacy.

1. Alticast has many years of experience with developing end-to-end media technology solutions that enable service providers to quickly and reliably deliver innovative TV experiences to their customers. We comply with strict statutory regulations. This means that we are legally required to process and store personal data. We are open and clear about this in our privacy statement.
2. Alticast uses strict rules for processing personal data, and we regularly evaluate the functioning of the rules. We process personal data that is relevant and necessary to give customers a wonderful customer experience and to be a good employer for our staff.
3. Alticast has taken appropriate organisational and technical security measures for dealing with the personal data of customers and employees. Only people with the correct level of authorisation are able to access personal data. If we engage external parties, we only do so once we have made solid agreements about the safe processing of personal data. We take measures to prevent data breaches, but should these occur, we inform the parties concerned and the regulatory authority when necessary.
4. Alticast develops new systems according to the principles of "privacy by design" and "privacy by default". These mean that privacy aspects are included in the design process, and we always start from the most privacy-friendly level.
5. Alticast wants to offer transparent, clear information about which personal data we process, why this is necessary, and how we handle the processing of personal data. We will assist any customers, employees or other persons concerned who require further details or information on this.

When you unsubscribe to commercial communications from us, we will remove you from the mailing list as quickly as possible. This normally occurs within 1-3 working days. Because of the processing time and production schedules, you may receive the communications that were already in production.
