Alticast participates in important Trade Associations for the
Cable and Satellite industry. This allows us to work closely with
others in the industry as new standards and ideas come to fruition and
to participate in various events with our customers.

Alticast has been a member of CableLabs, located a hop, skip and a jump from our US Headquarters in Colorado, for many years. We participate in their sponsored summer and winter conferences and have also participated in their on-site lab events.
Alticast was an early member of RDK and has been working closely with the RDK LLC to integrate and prepare new STBs for deployment to customers around the world.
Alticast works around the world and DVB is an important organization in vital markets in Europe, South America and elsewhere. Integrations using DVB protocols and standards are critical for deploying systems in those markets.
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) produces the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which brings together consumer technology companies and consumers. Alticast participates actively in year-round networking with these groups, along with lawmakers, educational institutions and other industry advocates who participate in the CEA.
Hybrid broadcast broadband TV (or “HbbTV”) is a global initiative aimed at harmonizing the broadcast and broadband delivery of entertainment services to consumers through connected TVs, set‐top boxes and multiscreen devices.
Alticast´s membership in the NCTA, the principal trade association for the U.S. cable industry, allows us to participate in advocating for industry and government policies that nurture our industry, the chief source of entertainment and information throughout much of the world.
Alticast is a member of the The Advanced Television Systems Committee, Inc., an international, non-profit organization developing voluntary standards and recommended practices for digital television. Alticast’s membership highlights our commitment to staying in the forefront of next-generation TV while helping our customers leverage the benefits of this standard.

Alticast Privacy Statement

GENERAL

Alticast may collect your personal data when you visit an Alticast office or website, order or purchase Alticast products or services or when you contact Alticast. This Privacy Statement applies to the collection and handling of the personal data of (potential) visitors to Alticast and users of the Alticast website ("Customers").

Alticast attaches great importance to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. We will handle your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

Alticast may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time. You may always view the latest version of the Privacy Statement at www.alticast.com. THE FIVE PRIVACY PRINCIPLES OF ALTICAST

The Alticast Privacy Principles reflect how we handle data protection and privacy.

1. Alticast has many years of experience with developing end-to-end media technology solutions that enable service providers to quickly and reliably deliver innovative TV experiences to their customers. We comply with strict statutory regulations. This means that we are legally required to process and store personal data. We are open and clear about this in our privacy statement.
2. Alticast uses strict rules for processing personal data, and we regularly evaluate the functioning of the rules. We process personal data that is relevant and necessary to give customers a wonderful customer experience and to be a good employer for our staff.
3. Alticast has taken appropriate organisational and technical security measures for dealing with the personal data of customers and employees. Only people with the correct level of authorisation are able to access personal data. If we engage external parties, we only do so once we have made solid agreements about the safe processing of personal data. We take measures to prevent data breaches, but should these occur, we inform the parties concerned and the regulatory authority when necessary.
4. Alticast develops new systems according to the principles of "privacy by design" and "privacy by default". These mean that privacy aspects are included in the design process, and we always start from the most privacy-friendly level.
5. Alticast wants to offer transparent, clear information about which personal data we process, why this is necessary, and how we handle the processing of personal data. We will assist any customers, employees or other persons concerned who require further details or information on this.

WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?

COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATION FROM ALTICAST

Alticast is happy to discuss with you about its products and services, for example by email, post, text message, telephone or via other communication channels. You always have the option to opt out of receiving further commercial communications from us by using one of the following options:
- by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the Alticast emails;
- by specifying via Alticast's website contact form that you no longer wish to receive commercial communication from Alticast;
- by indicating this in writing to Customer Services using the postal address below.
When you unsubscribe to commercial communications from us, we will remove you from the mailing list as quickly as possible. This normally occurs within 1-3 working days. Because of the processing time and production schedules, you may receive the communications that were already in production.
